Our Story

At the tender age of 16 years old I was introduced by my mother to alternative health. She bought me my first book on reiki and reflexology and a yoga DVD. I instantly fell in love. I was drawn to this idea that there are more gentle ways to find healing and balance then what I had previously experienced. This is where my journey with holistic wellness began. I read numerous books on natural healing modalities and alternative lifestyles. Books ranging from a plant based vegan diet, to yoga for stress relief, to how to make herbal tinctures, and so much more. I started to teach myself yoga at home, watching any yoga DVD I could get my hands on. This is when my yoga practice rooted itself into my life and has seen me through three pregnancies, the best of times and the worst of times. I started to use aromatherapy and varies herbs to help my chronic illness, and found that this alternative lifestyle was what my body and soul was craving. Over the last 18 years I have been expanding my knowledge through reading, training, and personal experience. In the year 2017 I received my meditation teacher training certification, finished my master Usui reiki certification, along with my crystal healing certification. In the winter of 2018 I received my RYT200 (registered yoga teacher) certification.

Throughout the good times and the more challenging ones I have found practices such as daily yoga, holistic wellness and connecting to nature on a deep and meaningful level has anchored me through my own healing journey. This lifestyle has helped me find a sense of freedom even in moments of suffering. It has brought me peace in times of sorrow, balance in times of imbalance, strength in times of weakness and because of this I am so excited and grateful to begin my journey into helping others find their path to health and happiness. Through yoga workshops, reiki sessions, meditation classes and my monthly blog I hope to inspire, encourage and support you on your journey as I share my journey. Together as a community we can begin to heal and find our authentic self always striving to come from a place of love and compassion for ourselves and all those around us.
